[ci]My perception of Aizen differs notice

My perception of Aizen differs noticeably from the representations commonly conveyed on platforms such as Wattpad or Tumblr. There, his character is often distorted by interpretations tinged with excessive eroticism, transforming him according to fantasies that are hardly faithful to his essence (I've read some of these things, you have no idea lol). In contrast to these portrayals of him as an inveterate seducer consumed by carnal pleasures, I see him more as an asexual, aromantic being ( that it's my opinion & hc). Not that he's impervious to amorous emotions or ionate impulses, but their manifestation in him remains extraordinarily DISCREET (to me), almost imperceptible. And even if feelings were to blossom, he'd remain far removed from conventional displays of affection and the usual romantic attentions (he wouldn't bring you breakfast in bed or cuddle you at night, for example... be serious, Tumblr community).

Nevertheless, his inquisitive (?) nature may lead him to take a personal interest in an individual he deems worthy of attention. In this case, he might deploy his powers of observation to fine-tune his approach, lying being his art of choice. Moreover, considering the capabilities of his Kyokasuigetsu, which enables him to create perfect illusions, the idea that he would stoop to using seduction as a strategy seems unlikely to me. His zanpakutō already provides him with all the subterfuge necessary for his machinations. Indeed, he explicitly states in the work his reluctance to get directly involved, preferring to orchestrate events by manipulating others.

[ci]My perception of Aizen differs notice

Although Aizen's past remains a mystery, there are a feeling that his actions are motivated by deep-seated convictions. I don't see him as the pure evil character. I'm guessing that he was deeply affected by the inequalities of the spiritual world, which led him to attack their very origin: the Soul King. ittedly, his methods are FAR from peaceful, but as Ichigo so rightly pointed out, there's a deep sense of loneliness about him. Despite his reprehensible actions, I can't help but feel comion for this character (I'm under Kyokasuigetsu maybe :broken_heart: ). His apparent cruelty seems more a mask than a genuine character trait. While he sometimes takes pleasure in tormenting his opponents, he doesn't gratuitously seek to take their lives. I'm convinced that his words before stabbing Hinamori were sincere, as was his particular conception of mercy, which led him to act as he did, believing that she couldn't survive without his presence. Although his vision of comion may seem disturbing, it reflects his own logic, I think. (It's the moment to remind you that it's my opinion & how I see it... ;_;) // It doesn't mean that he loved her or anything like this, though.

Aizen remains a master in the art of manipulation, with a remarkable ability to adapt. He naturally achieves his ends, subtly adjusting his approach according to the person he seeks to influence. His presence alone is enough to command respect, not only for his considerable power, but also for his naturally imposing aura. It's no mean feat to come face to face with someone capable of immobilizing you by the sheer force of his reiatsu, depending on your resistance to spiritual energy (imo). In reality, the only certainties we have about him come down to his appreciation of tea, his goal and his meticulous calligraphy, a talent he shared as a teacher at the shinigami academy (then again, he could have been lying about that). His true motivations, like his authentic personality, remain a mystery, even if we can observe an interesting evolution in his behavior over the course of the story (imo). His expression, particularly when sealed in the chair, betrays a certain weariness, as if his current situation inspires deep dissatisfaction. I think it was genuine, since he doesn't need to hide himself.

The Arrancar arc reveals more human facets of Aizen, notably his susceptibility to annoyance and his pronounced pride. Faced with Ichigo and Kisuke, we witness a moment of vulnerability when his usual mastery gives way to outburst, revealing his difficulty in accepting that someone could thwart his plans or sur him in "intelligence", despite the power of the Hōgyoku. Furthermore, it was precisely this Hōgyoku that, by giving him a sense of invincibility, fueled his excess and precipitated his downfall. This overconfidence led him to make fatal errors of judgment. Furthermore, his attitude towards his subordinates during the Arrancar arc reveals a low tolerance for insubordination, not hesitating to brandish the threat of reprisals for behavior he deems disrespectful. This can also be seen as a way of ensuring that his plans run smoothly.

I'm too lazy to type more... I'll continue tomorrow. :D

Explained in this manner, Aizen’s character is becoming more and more scary to me. I don’t want people to humanize him, because then I realize, I’m only one mental break away from being exactly like him in many ways. The joker once said, “they say I changed a lot. I said, a lot has changed me.”

Someone posted something the other day on tumblr I think that said something along the lines of “this (a scene involving Aizen showing true emotion for a blip of a second) just serves to remind me Aizen was just a lonely being and if he’d had someone his life would’ve been different”.

Again, making the whole notion of humanizing his character more and more terrifying to me.

Technically, he's humanized even in the work by the simple fact that he was able to express anger and frustration. 0: As Kubo is very good at creating characters, it's impossible for me that he'd just make an antagonist who's a villain without developing him / a villain who has no reason to be, so it makes sense to "humanize" him. We don't know much about Aizen, but it's easy to see that he's not devoid of "human" emotion. In fact, I find some of the other characters worse than Aizen in the moral sense, especially the Sternritters (Gigi is literally a (TRIGGER WARNING) sexual ab and a necrophilus [?] for example). Aizen is definitely a scary character, but it's not the kind of fear that affects me the most. But I understand what you mean. n_n

Necrophiliac. I haven’t gotten that far yet. I haven’t watched TYBW but I’m working my way up there.

I think it’s just that I can relate to his character so much and knowing how he ends up, it scares me so the more I see revealed about his character, the more I get scared. I really do hope Kubo never reveals his past ignorance is bliss

As someone who has been a fan of this man for over a decade, and has seen COUNTLESS other Aizens or Aizen fans on the internet.... This is absolutely one of the best posts I've read on him. Wonderful. :ok_hand: Brings my heart joy when someone ACTUALLY reads him well.
