Her behaviour is based on something r!ciel said. She doesn't know o!ciel doesn't feel the same she doesn't know they're even different people at the current point in the anime. She's just trying to behave the way she thinks she's supposed to not to mention the fact that she represents most victorian women who were meant to be nothing more than whatever their husbands asked them to be.
Exactly, this is the problem with people not caring enough to think a little deeper. We know very well that the lizzy that she herself REPRESENTS is not her own core. I find it so sad when people don't bother to understand why she acts the way she does :sob: . Justice for my girly Lizzh

I'd say a bit of both
The clinginess is over the top for sure, but I don't think she's necessarily annoying. She knows how to stop as long as you're coldly blunt with her, unlike other characters I've seen who never stop no matter what you try to say about it

I think they can both be annoying but I prefer grell over Lizzie. Lizzie’s voice sounds like a dying rat tryna sing opera on helium
To me not truly and even if she was I’ve seen way worse
