This is heart breaking, but is also the simple unwritten truth. :/

Police should be held able for their recklessness. If they were, this crap wouldn't keep happening. Murder is legal as long as ur a white cop, the victim is not white, and ur in uniform when it is done.

How can we grow to being a society that holds the authorities responsible for abusing their power and making critically lethal errors? How can we grow into a society where police are no longer a threat to a portion of the population and actually does serve and protect? What steps do we need to take? I long to actually make change but I don't know how we do that.

All I know is that I can't stand this. I can't imagine how terrifying it must be to be a black Person let alone a black man in America. And no one should have to be terrified to live here. No one should have to tell their children that they might be killed if they make a wrong move when encountering police.

My heart goes out to everyone affected.
