      Tdy, I am going to say about "Blue And Grey" by "BTS" . This song is included in their fifth Korean - language studio album, BE which in released in November 20 , 2020 . The , V , Suga , J-Hope , RM wrote this song . According to V, Blue and grey means " Depression and anxiousness inside of human beings .

      For me , I usually listen this song when I am feeling depressed . Both the title and lyrics of this song are so meaningful. So let's me tell my opinions and feelings on this song !!

Hints before released

   A few sneak peak of V's mixtape in "BTS " " In the Soop series ! In one episode , V went on a canoe ride and sang a song . The lyrics wasn't the same as "Blue and Grey " but it's similar.

  " Where's my angel. I'm sick and tired of everything. Someone come and save myself 'cause I can't take it anymore. Everywhere I go, everywhere I see, can you look at me 'cause I'm going free? Every time I cry, every time I smile, can you look at me 'cause I'm blue and grey? I just wanna be happier, baby don't let me go. "

   Lyrics Analysis

      V : Where is my angel

           하루의 끝을 드리운

           Someone come and save me, please

           지친 하루의 한숨뿐

     I have tried my best in my daily life . But , at the end of the day , I am exhausting with sighs .Where is my "angel" , who can bring my happiness and joy . Although I am calling aloud , I still can't find where my angle is. This feeling (loneliness) cannot be helped by anyone or known by anyone . If someone can solve my feelings , come and save me pls .

            JK: 사람들은 다 행복한가 봐

               Can you look at me?

              'Cause I am blue and grey

               거울에 비친 눈물의 의미는

        웃음에 감춰진 나의 색깔 blue and grey

       This loneliness depression happens only on me? All the people seems happy but why I am not? I need someone who can share with my feelings cuz I am blue and grey . The meanings of tears where I can see myself in the mirror have been covered with my smile (blue and grey). Let's stay like everybody does , "smiling , laughing , spending their time usefully and happily". However , inside ( mind ) is still blue and grey . I don't want anybody know this feeling except my angle. Will a person know my inside?

    Let's think when it starts from...?? Sine I was young...?The blue marked question has been inside my head. This might be the reason why I am trying my best and living so hard ... Now, I am standing in the middle of my life. But when I look at my past, I saw a deep blue shadow that devours me . What about that blue marked question ? Still I don't know it's whether anxiety or depression. Let's think what's that mean :persevere: !!Is that an animal with regert or is that me who is feeling lonely??? I still don't know deep blue ... I hope it doesn't erode me . If it does , I'll find its exist!

     Jin: I just wanna be happier

            차가운 날 녹여줘

    [ Here we go the main churs of this song , "I just wanna be happier..." Let's check it out the previous parts :point_up_2: . V, JK and Suga sang about the

depression and anxiety . So, "being happier" is the main reason of a person . This reason is not only true for a depressed person but also truth for a normal person. In my opinion this is the most meaningful sentence of this song ]

      I just wanna be happier as I was filled with blue and grey . This anxiety and depression are stayed in my mind as a frozen ice . Let's melt this frozen me ...

      JK: 수없이 내민 나의 손

             색깔 없는 메아리

      My numerous and countless hands and colourless echos....... [ This might be an expression of the things he had done previously. The word "colourless echos " means every moments he has ed are now colourless like an old flim , being colourless. But he can sill and that moments are wondering around him like an echo . ]

       Jimin : Oh this ground feels so heavier

                   I am singing by myself

      [ This verse really suits with Jimin's sweet voice ^^. As I mentioned above, a person is thinking abt "the blue marked question", "blue and grey " and "the way he ed". My readers , Army can also feel that feeling I expressed . ] If these all things make the gr hiound , I am standing feels heavier . So , leave me alone ...singing myself .. :notes: :notes: ..

     V : I just wanna be happier

          이것도 큰 욕심일까

     Being happier is a big wish! Am I so greedy..?

[Everybody wants to get a happy life. The word "Am I so greedy " says that he want it heartedly.]

    Jin & JK : 추운 겨울 거리를 걸을 때 느낀

                    빨라진 심장의 호흡 소릴

                    지금도 느끼곤 해

      It seems like I am walking on the roads of cold winter....I can still feel the fast feelings and breathing...[ It's not fine for him.. :pensive: . Those feelings make him cold as well as fast rhythmic beats of his heart]

   Jimin & V : 괜찮다고 하지 마

                    괜찮지 않으니까

      제발 혼자 두지 말아 줘 너무 아파 (oh)

    Don't say " it's okay " because I know it's not okay . Please don't leave me alone as it hurts me so much. [In our daily life , we usually say "I'm okay /fine ". But , me , myself , our soul (mind) knows very well abt us. It also exists in proverbs! Being okay or not is only known by ourselves. Living with our own sociaty (family , friends) seems fun and enjoy . On the other hand , if we are staying alone, our daily life would be meaningless . So, this verse has many hidden meanings if we think like a philosopher :joy: ]

  Hobi : 늘 걷는 길과 늘 받는 빛

            But 오늘은 왠지 낯선 scene

            무뎌진 걸까 무너진 걸까

            근데 무겁긴 하다 이 쇳덩인

            다가오는 회색 코뿔소

            초점 없이 난 덩그러니 서있어

            나답지 않아 이 순간

            그냥 무섭지가 않아

     The usual walk with the usual expression of light , but today, it's some strange scene. Is it dull or is it broken ? But it's still as heavy as this lump of metal . When I approach to gray rhinoceros, I was just standing without focus. At that moment, it was not like me and I am just not scared of it.[ "Is it dull or broken?" ,"Lump of metal" mean that his mind (blue and grey) is so heavy for him in his daily life. The second line means that , although he is doing his daily duties , he doesn't have focus . Rhinoceros ,of course , can harmful to us when we go nearer to them but he is not scared of them as he is not as usual. In this , Rhinoceros refers to "people's point of view" I guess. ]

      RM : 난 확신이란 신 따위 안 믿어

             색채 같은 말은 간지러워

             넓은 회색지대가 편해

             여기 수억 가지 표정의 grey

             비가 오면 내 세상 (oh)

             이 도시 위로 춤춘다

             맑은 날엔 안개를

             젖은 날엔 함께 늘

             여기 모든 먼지들

             위해 축배를

     I don't even believe in the god of certainty . Colourful words are behaving like a tickle. A large gray area is more convenient. Here's a smile with hundreds of millions of "grey". If it rains ,my world will dance in this city . On clear day, foggy. On rainy day, we'll together. Let's wish for all the dust in here. [The anxiety makes him suspicious. He doesn't believe to anyone now. As everything makes him as a tickle. Now, the grey area which he has been for a time has used to him. His actions (all movements) has lots of grey.Whatever the world of others happening,he enjoy his world by himself singing and dancing.]

      JK : I just wanna be happier

             내 손의 온길 느껴줘

      I just wanna be happier, feel the warmth of my hands. [ However, everything seems cold, his mind and hands will warm to someone . In other words, the inner-mind is the most important for human beings.]

  Jimin : 따뜻하지가 않아서 네가 더욱 필요해

    As I haven't been feel the warmth, I need u more. [As Blue and grey has been inside his for a long, the warmth on his plam doesn't feel warm for him. It can also related with "I need u" song if we think so far ]

   V : Oh this ground feels so heavier

        I am singing by myself

  This verse is the same as the above part. For me , this lines play a vital role in this song . In my daily life , whenever I face with difficulty or feel tired from my duties, I make my relaxation by singing a song . Moreover,these lines are very suit with V's voice,too.

   Jin : 먼 훗날 내가 웃게 되면

          말할게 그랬었다고

   If I can smile in future which is far away, please tell me that I can be smiling . [ Let's relate with "I just wanna be happier :notes: " . We usually smile when we are happy . I use "usually" in previous sentence. According to the above, some of our smiles have been covered and disguised with anxiety. In this part, smiling deeply would be the real happiness he wants . Let's go back to the first part "Where's my angel" . He also believe in angle who can tell his future. This dream will be long for him to come true. But , I truly believe in that he will have that happiness]

[After struggling from the daily life ,he arrives the paeceful dawn of his dream. A sound sleep is welcoming the next day duties. "Goodnight" says by Taeyoung can be heard in some songs before like Winterbear. ]

I'm sorry that if it was boring. And if my translation is worng , forgive me . This is my first time translating and taking part in this challenge.

After this song has released, in 2021, J-Hope released a song "blue side" and the concept is really similar to "Blue and Grey". If u can give time, listen to that song too.

Well, that's my opinions and feelings on this song . This song is meaningful to me . And I hope you guys are the same as me ! As I am a learner of edits , I did't add edits.
