We all heard that bullies do what they do cause they themselves are hurting or genuinely think they are the good guys standing up to oppressors. In turn creating their victims into bullies themselves and the cycle continues.
But it still persists cause the pain is just to great we wanna get revenge and initiate call-out culture.
But it’ll be easier to fix if bullying is just who someone is, then we can simply throw them away like the garbage they are.
But if it’s a consequence of trama/drama (trama, that we ourselves inflict mostly unintentionally or not believing we are doing so) then we as good people hold a responsibility to prevent the cycle by trying to help and often that requires self-sacrifice despite the hurt they cause us. We often shape and create the people that hurt us.
That means yes it is their responsibility to heal but same goes for us to heal them.
So, is bullying a behavior or identity?
