Death Investigations

Surprisingly, most death Investigations in the U.S. are not conducted by people who have any professional medical background.

I know as an American citizen myself, I expect someone with a professional background in biology and the medical field.

Unfortunately, instead the investigations are often performed by Coroners, and under the close supervision of their local police department. Which also (unsurprisingly) leads to corruption of the death reports and certificates.

There are a lot of things wrong with this ranging from power abuse, cover-ups, and even of course negligence amongst other things.

One coroner was cought allowing their children to play with the deceased brain that the coroner was autopsying- and let their wife take pictures and share them on social media.

Another somehow allowed their dog to eat the internal organs of another person's body that was being autopsied.

This is not only absolutely disrespectful of the dead and their families, but also just.... Absolutely gross- in so many ways.
