Elios was born several hundred years ago. A few years before Natsu and the other first gen dragon slayers were born. He was born among a noble family of elite wizards who served queen Irene Belserion. When the queen learned about dragon slayer magic from the dragon Balserion. His family was among the first to also be bestowed with the gift of dragon slayer magic. Elios learned his magic from the gravity dragon Levia. Although a stern teacher she was kind and loving towards Elios. Something he never experienced with his biological family. Sometime later after the side effects of dragonification were known. Elios was instructed by Levia to meet with her oldest son Glacia the winter dragon living in the far north. Hoping he could use his magic to freeze Elios. Something that one day. Elios would wake up in a time where a cure was discord dragonification. Upon meeting Glacia, Elios was tested to ensure he would survive on his own on the future. After his succes Glacia also shared a bit of power with Elios so he could survive the freezing proces. Giving him access to Gravity winter dragon mode. Skipping several hundred years into the future and Elios was found and eventually freed by a very specific group of fairy tail wizards who after their first meeting and a small adventure invited him to their guild.

Dragon slayer magic:

A type of lost magic that bestows the the abilities needed to slay a dragon. The specializes in a specific type of dragon slayer magic determined by the type of dragon. In Elios his case he is able to utilize gravity magic to slay dragons. Using the magic to increase and decrease the gravitational pull on him. Allowing him to fly and enhance his melee attacks. He is also able to use this magic to crush inanimate objects under their own gravitational force. Compressing them into any shape he sees fit. These shapes are then bestowed with the qualities needed to slay a dragon. Most gravity dragon slayer spells focus on a balanced combination between area long range offense and defense. Gravity dragon slayer offensive spells become stronger the longer they are active. As an example a point blank breath attack is as effective as a slap to the face. A breath attack that’s been fired from a long distance has had time to build up their gravitational field and accumulate more natural mass from the surrounding area. Making the impact way more powerful. Elios also unlocked a dual elemental form where he is able to combine both gravity and ice magic together.
