Okay, before you criticize me, I need to let you know my standing. I am NOT telling you to not vote for your favorite units that you love. That’s perfectly fine. I’m talking about units who people feel DESERVE a brave variant. Now I know I’ll get a lot of hate for this, so here’s one final warning:

now that that’s out of the way, let’s start, shall we?
We’ll start out with the most controversial one first:
Marth
What? What nonsense are you even spouting?!?
Okay, hear me out. So Marth lost in CYL 2 right? It was a pretty sad one at that, and I sympathize with the guy. I would vote for him like the rest of you if it wasn’t for the banner that happened directly after the brave heroes banner.
This one banner is the single reason I wholeheartedly believe Marth shouldn’t get a brave alt. BECAUSE HE ALREADY HAS ONE.
Enter the Legendary hero Summoning Event, and the arrival of Legendary Marth
This, this one Marth Alt, says everything. Incredible art and great voice lines, a unit with incredible Stats and incredible skills that make him an incredible unit in his own right.
IS did this on purpose to apologize for the fiasco that happened in CYL 2 (you’ll notice in CYL 3 they now add the votes for all variants of the character) This Legendary banner after CYL was a way to compensate for one unit who got oh-so-close to Brave status. And if you ask me, this is the “Brave” Marth we deserved
Chrom
This is the less controversial pick, especially considering the amount of alts Chrom has. Even if I love the Exalted prince himself, his Knight Exalt alt is the reason I won’t be voting for him in CYL 3 for the same reasons as legendary Marth.
OTHERS
All other units fall into the same reasoning as Marth and Chrom. This includes:
Hinoka
Tiki
Eirika
Azura
Ryoma
If the hero has an alt that already represents their best of a Brave hero, maybe they shouldn’t be a brave hero? It’s just my opinion.
