His name is from the latin name of the White troated dipper and is Norways national bird(fossekall in Norwegian) Cinclus Cinclus and his pattern is also based on this bird.

Love the design of him.

And I can also relate much to this image. As I weared a Gryphon costume evryone said: you are a scary bird.

Some thought that Im a hyppogryph but common my head is round and not long like at a horse!
