The Red Sleeve Bldified

It's Mila here with another BL fanfic for a kdrama and this month I will be bldifying...... The Red Sleeve! I swear if any of you have seen it you can't not see that Hong Deok Ro is so gay for the crown prince! So even though I hated his character throughout most of the drama, I decided to give him a happy ending where he can (sort of) end up with his beloved prince.

Hong Deok Ro has been the crown prince, Yi San's playmate since they were very little. He was always fascinated with him and wanted to get close to him but unfortunately Yi San didn't trust him, which was understandable as so many people lost his trust already.

One day, Deok Ro's chance to gain his trust finally came. When Yi San was put into a difficult situation due to reading a forbidden book, Deok Ro ran to the prince's library to get rid of the book. He noticed that someyoung palace girl has already gotten rid of the evidence but he decided he won't let that get in the way. When Yi San asked who it was that helped him, Deok Ro told him he got rid of the evidence. As he hoped, Yi San instantly trusted him more and started getting closer to him.

As they grew up, he became Yi San's best friend but Deok Ro became worried again when Yi San they started looking for concubines for him. There was also a courtlady called Deok Im, who seemed to get very close to Yi San, which bothered him. He didn't understand why, as he was the closest man to him but somehow seeing women around Yi San made him upset.

Once again, Yi San's life was in danger and Deok Ro did everything he could to make sure the crown prince will be safe, but it seemed like he only cares about the courtlady, who helped him. He didn't understand why this was, since he has been helping Yi San since they were children. Why did this girl suddenly interfere?

Deok Ro started to put his anger into doing bad and corrupt things, to get Yi San's attention but nothing seemed to bother him, which made him even more upset. One dy he did something so bad that he finally had to be punished, but Yi San brought him to talk to him on his own first.

"Why did you do this?" he asked

"No matter what I did, you wouldn't notice me. I just wanted you to notice me and be the closest to you, like we used to be." Deok Ro said on his knees.

"You are close to me! Don't you understand, that's why I kept ignoring all your wrongdoings? Because I didn't want to punish you!" Yi San cried out.

"I'm sorry, your highness" Deok Ro bowed down. "I have these weird feelings inside myself lately. I hate to see you talking with other people and want you to only look at me. Ever since I was a kid, I've felt strongly about you. I even lied about who saved you as a young prince. I deserve to be punished."

Suddenly Deok Ro could feel Yi San's touch on his face. He was kneeling in front of him, holding up his face to look at him.

"Do you think I didn't know about that? I don't care who saved me back then or ever. You're the only one who matters to me."

Before Deok Ro could think about what's happening, Yi San pulled him in for a kiss. It was long and ionate, making Deok Ro feel like his whole body is on fire.

"So don't do these things to get my attention anymore because I am only looking at you." Yi San finally said when he pulled away.

After this, Yi San continued to keep Deok Ro close to him. He even set up a home for Deok Ro inside the palace, a place like only the queen and concubines would get. He visited his place there every night, supposedly to discuss political mattrrs but he always left at dawn. In history books, it was said that Yi San treasured his closest friend, Hong Deok Ro the most, even more than his queen and concubines.
