Was gonna just post about this in the Thoughts Box, but it’s good news and it has been ages since I’ve posted about OMEGA X so I’ll do it here! We finally got a new legal update from their current company, IPQ, yesterday — the full English translation of the statement is included below. When OX left their previous (abusive) company, those people filed a lawsuit and claimed there had been tampering by IPQ to try and get the boys to sign with them before their original contracts were officially annulled. There were a lot of rumors and bad press because of this, and apparently it even prevented OX from being able to properly release new music and promote — but finally it has been resolved legally. The courts decided in favor of IPQ saying that there was no evidence of tampering! While there are still some cases ongoing in regard to the s*xual harassment and other issues that occurred, this is a big win for them! I love how IPQ concluded their statement. “OMEGA X did nothing wrong…OMEGA X won’t be ed as the unluckiest idol group in kpop history, but rather as the one who independently overcame all odds to deliver a message of hope and to never give up. The truth never stops.” Well said! I’m so relived at this news, and I’m so proud of the boys (with the help of IPQ) continuing to fight and sticking together despite everything. I love you OMEGA X, we are here to you!
