I decided it's time I come out of my comfort zone and try to draw these two for once. I ALWAYS suffer with Marina. Like there is not a time I haven't had to look at a reference image (and when I mean reference, I mean any doodle I've already done of her) just for her specifically. Pearl is easy. Just those tentacles kill me every time whenever I draw Marina.
Another thing is when trying to make this another summer theme, the decision to give Pearl a swimsuit was another out of comfort thing since people love to say it's sus when it isn't. (Or at least that's what happened last time on another community which is why I never ever did any sketch that involved a swimsuit.) But I figured I'd make an exception here, for some reason it just fit with Pearl cause she's just a small gremlin and she just really wants to have a competitive game here.
Speaking of which, she's getting tired of waiting. Find a teammate quickly. She isn't a patient person and she's already counting down, so find someone quick.
