Isis is the Egyptian goddess of motherhood, magic and fertility who was worshipped as the ideal mother and wife, as well as the patroness to nature and magic. She was the friend of the slaves, sinners and artisans but also to the wealthy. She was considered an important representation of the Pharaoh's power.
Due to the association of knots and magic, a symbol of Isis was the "Tyet". It was often referred to as a symbol of eternal life and resurrection. Isis tends to manifest in the forms of a swallow, a cow, a pregnant woman, a queen or a woman struck with grief and despair.
The star "Sirius" is associated with Isis too, as protector to the dead. It is said that Isis tricked the Sun God Ra into telling her his secret name by causing a snake to bite him of which only she had the antidote. This gave her power over him.

I'd just like to add that as far as associated minerals go, Lapis Lazuli was sacred to Isis and many ancient Egyptians used Lapis to worship the goddess. Lapis was very central to Ancient Egyptian paganism :)
Ah brilliant thank you for letting me now :)
