♡Hello!♡

This ones a pretty simple and quick post! I finished some new Appalachian-dutch Barn Sign earrings! Three different kinds niw available :pray: all made from recycled hard cardboard that's been painted with acrylic in attempt to be more eco-friendly, bonus is that they're not very heavy on the ears!

I enjoy how this source explains the signs I know so well, I know this article is based off of pennsylvania, however these same dutch hex signs are seen throughout appalachia as well, and they hold the same meanings.

This one I actually made up!, taking heavy influences from other Barn signs, I've comprised one that represents springtime in appalachia. The violet, white and green representing yhe first colors we see in appalachia when plants grow back for the year: the light green a symbol of the moss and bio-life forming in our swamps, creeks, and rivers, making these earring a STRONG symbol of fertility!
