:low_brightness: my name is odette! i am a 17 year old practicing witch, and i aim to become an occupational therapist!

:high_brightness: i would label my practice as mostly eclectic, however i have a heavy focus on divination (tarot and the somewhat frequent dreams) and i am a spiritualist mostly but i go by the label of witch

:low_brightness: i focus on divination, and i am highly empathetic. i incorporate a lot of things from different paths (holy oil/holy water etc) and i focus on spoken spells and sigils

:high_brightness: i started researching when i was 10 (ikr thats wayyy too young for me to know what im doing) i stopped around 3 years ago? and i am now back on the path. my path was very similar to mine now however i feel as though i have a greater understanding now of the gravity of what i do as well as myself.

:low_brightness: i consider myself agnostic mostly, although i incorporate catholic ideas (and im research folklore) and i dont quite feel as though ive progressed enough in my craft to work with any entities/deities etc

:high_brightness: i observe holy days both christian and the solstices/equinoxes. i go to church on easter and christmas, and i celebrate on my own the other sabbats

:low_brightness: a few particular areas of study i find interesting are runes, celtic mythology/folklore, and ritualistic magick (deity work too)

:high_brightness: i love the way i personalize my practice and i make it so that only i understand wtf im doing. i just really like the kind of chaotic but consistent vibes

:low_brightness: i dislike being in the broom closet honestly, id really like some freedom in my practice, and id like to improve on my research skills. also i live in a country that's ruled mostly by 2 monotheistic religions, so it makes it near impossible for me to find books/tarot cards/pendulums or any sort of witchy material

:high_brightness: i ed P&W in order to connect with other witches and people on the same path as me. its very rare that someone in my country have similar interests, and i want to learn more abt other areas of practice in witchcraft and just share my own knowledge and interests

:low_brightness: things abt me outside of my practice; i really love music, writing/journaling are two of my favorite hobbies. i crochet and knit, i love learning weird facts, and i love horror movies and witchy movies (i annoy my friends endlessly in the correcting the herb correspondents and such in shows and movies) and i read like theres no tomorrow
