2057, science discovers the Limiter Gene, a genetic formation in the brain that limited the capabilities of the human species. Rapid research and development took place until the gene was able to be safely taken out, and humans were able to become free of the limitation placed upon them by their bodies.
2100, superhumans now occupy the vast majority of the world as reproduction spiked and those without powers had to either adapt or died brutally. The world is harshly different, more chaotic and focused on the most powerful being in control - the laws are less strict and fighting is at the epicentre of society.
Kyros, the world’s biggest city that occupies an entire artificial island is now the face of combat and superhumans - with a culture heavily built on accepting combat and the use of superhuman powers in everyday life. This accepting nature has led to a harmony in the depths of chaos, with this oxymoronic way of life being satisfactory to many.
