Why I Listen To Music While Studying
I like listening to music while I study because it calms me and I can concentrate better when the music drowns out other distracting sounds like conversations or traffic noises.

The Right Type Of Music
What I personally find important when choosing music to study is that the music itself isn't distracting.
Therefore I like music without lyrics because words are distracting (especially if you listen to English music while studying French or some of the likes, trust me it doesn't work so well).
So instrumental covers of songs or classic piano pieces will do. I personally prefer Chillstep, a music style that derived from Dubstep yet is much slower and melodical.
(Sometimes when I turn on Chillstep music I can almost feel my heartbeat slow down.)

Where To Find Chillstep
On YouTube you can easily find 1 hour Chillstep Mixes. I used to listen to Pulse8's Mixes a lot and sometimes to ArcticEmpire's Mixes but there are a lot more channels.
Now I prefer listening to Chillstep on Spotify, though you can't find all Artists there you can find on YouTube.
