[Story Fanfic] A Worrisome Valentine's Day [Fluttering Feelings]

No-Rae hummed gently to a song on the park bench. Dressed in a casual white T-shirt with her red checkered blouse around her waist, the weather was slightly chilly for her. Nevertheless, she waited patiently looking at the occasional people who crossed the paths. Some of them were couples, clinging together with entwined hands and exchanging sweet smiles with their partners. No-Rae twirled her brown hair as she leaned back onto the park bench. Had she arrived too early? She let out a small sigh.

Would Seol-A be okay with not receiving flowers? Maybe she should have brought them for her. No-Rae had thought that bringing flowers might be too bold of a move. But, since it was Valentines Day, it should be fine, right?

However, whenever No-Rae thought of handing over flowers to that beautiful and gorgeous lady. Aigoo... She cannot imagine how or what would happen.

Would she smile at her gently?

Or would she be too embarressed to accept the flowers?

Either way, No-Rae was [I]pretty[/I] sure she would be at loss at what to do in both cases.

She thought of those slender wrists, lovely pink lips and snow white porcelain skin. The sensation of butterflies fluttering in her stomach made her feel slightly anxious but warm at the same time.

She clenched her chest.

"I wish she was here already."

"Who, me?"

No-Rae looked up and found a pair of beautiful dark-brown eyes staring down at her quizzically, albeit with a slight smile tugging at her lips.

The woman smiled brightly as she watched a flustered No-Rae struggling to find her words. It was quite the sight, watching No-Rae's internal debate. She went from looking down and blushing to shaking her head violently. In the end, she calmed down and looked at Seol-A with a steady gaze.

"There's still 15 minutes."

"I know." Seol-A replied.

No-Rae looked down once again. She felt her heart flutter against her chest, as her feelings and anxiety built up from waiting were gone and her heart filled with something warm and tender. "Aigoo... My heart can't take it." She thought to herself.

"Shall we go on our date?" Seol-A asked, extending out a hand. No-Rae lifted her head and agreed with a nod and her charismatic grin, and grabbed onto the hand. Seol-A pulled her up from the bench. However, what No-Rae wasn't expecting was when she stood up it closed the gap between them, but Seol-A made no effort to move away. As a result, she was held to the body of the black-haired woman, their faces were mere inches apart.

"Hey beautiful." Seol-A said. The brown-hair girl blushed peered into the taller girl's eyes. "Why you little rascal, so sweet today!" A surpised No-Rae said jokingly.

"Umm... No-Rae? It might not mean much but... I hope you like it!" She blurted out fast as an embarrassed Seol-A pulled out a small bouquet of flowers and hurriedly handed them to the other unexpecting girl.

"Thank you, Seol-A." She said calmly.

"What's wrong, No-Rae? I expecting a little better reaction."

"I- " her voice choked up. " I wanted to give you flowers too! But I worried it might be too much..." She pointed her index fingers together, "since we only just started dating and all..." She trailed off.

Seol-A peered into those fervent chocolate brown eyes, smiled sweetly and said "I don't mind not receiving flowers. Honestly, seeing you today made my day already. It's the thought that counts, right? We have plenty of time in the world that you could give me flowers, so let's not get worried about that continue on our date?"

No-Rae pouted, rather unsatisfied. "Then let's go get some NOW." She pulled her in the direction of the path.

"Alright." Seol-A chuckled and gets pulled along.

Hello, it's Cococchi. This is a fanfic of the my fav pair from fluttering feelings. It is also my first time writing so be gentle with me, and thank you for reading in advance. Warning: you may get diabetes from reading this... Like I did while writing....
