Firstly, let me sincerely apologize for this Leader Log coming out so late. Real life obligations, combined with the spring college semester looming, caused this (and various other posts of mine) to fall by the wayside. The only thing for it is to assure you that the next Leader Log (for January) will be out on February 1st, as it should be. Once again, my deepest apologies!

December Summary

December was a quieter month for most of us, which was well-warranted, given that it was the holiday season. Hopefully, besides a few skirmishes here and there, everyone found a relaxed (or friendly, at the very least) atmosphere in the Amino.

Past Events

- Secret Santa was held during this month! If anyone has still yet to receive their gifts, please immediately reach out to myself or Klutz. Please don’t be afraid to ask, we want to make sure everyone who participated gets a present of some sort.

- FireMage, myself, and other of the Amino have begun hosting sessions of Rival Bromains! We held the first one open to the Amino on December 30th, X-Mas Bromains. (We also held New Year's Bromains during January.)

Current Events

- FEHA Prompt Prompts Chat!

- Title Suggestions for Tacky Trophies 3 are now underway! Please suggest any titles you think would apply to a member of this community, and look forward to voting on them in the near future!

- Due to scheduling mishaps, the Soloist Challenge hosted during the month of December (Chain Challenge Catastrophe, #SoloChallenge6) will be extended to the end of January. The info post on this challenge will be posted later today.

- The next session of Rival Bromains, Grail Bromains, is planned to be held this Saturday (January 23rd) at approximately 5pm CST. We have a few open spots left, but regardless, if you are interested in Rival Bromains, please feel free to me or FireMage for more information!

Future Events

- Tacky Trophies 3, as previously mentioned, will be underway as soon as the submissions period has come to a close.

- FEHA Prompt #40 will begin on January 22nd!

- #SoloChallenge7 will begin on February 1st! For more information, please feel free to the Soloist's Guild Public Chatroom. We're happy to help!

Even though the Amino was mostly free from conflict or error, from you all is still indescribably valuable to us. It's YOUR community, after all, and we mod are here to help enact the changes and improvements YOU would like to see. In order for us to do this, however, we NEED your . Personally, my private messages are always open, and are often the best way to have your addressed directly. If you'd prefer a more formal manner to submit , however, our new Form is always open. This is only seen by Leaders, so rest assured that your responses will be kept in good confidence, and only used with the other mod team when needed to address any concerns or suggestions you share.

Also, I'm bringing up an idea with the other mod as I write this about opening a new Event Planning Committee, which will work directly with the mod team to plan more events for the community. If this sounds interesting to you, keep an eye out for more news on this soon ;)

Overall, the past month and a half have lacked the noticeable tension or conflict characteristic of the ending months of 2020 (at least online). This has been very refreshing, I feel, to a lot of folks (myself included), and it gives me a positive outlook on months to come. I hope to have many more relaxed interactions with you all in the future.
