In the past the staff team of MCaB has noticed a trend in face reveals popping up in popular chat rooms and public posts, most notably the Questionable People Chatroom.

This is now a problem.

∘₊✧── Why Is This No Longer Allowed? ──✧₊∘

The main reason we do not allow s to show their face on this amino is our strict . By showing your face in a public chat or post, you are leaking an image of yourself for anyone to see, and you have no control over who has access to those photos and who may approach you about them as a result. We want to make sure everyone in this community is safe and protected from anyone with malicious intentions who may be able to infiltrate this amino.

Furthermore, in the past there have been instances where photographs of these kinds could be used as blackmail or for even stalking purposes, and as a community focused on safety the last thing we want is for someone to be the victim of those things.

Please keep aware that we are not trying to scare you with these facts, but we are simply making note of the issues with revealing this level of private information to the public eye.

The following places you cannot show your real face to include but are not limited to:

Public and Private Chatrooms

Posts

Profile Pictures

And although we can not enforce 1-on-1 private chats completely, please keep caution of who you are showing it to at all times and avoid consistency!

Although we no longer allow real face reveals, we do still allow art of oneself and cosplay with your face blurred, but keep in mind it must stay mythical if it’s being posted!

∘₊✧─ What Do I Do If I See Somebody Showing Their Face?─✧₊∘

If you spot somebody revealing their identity in a public chat or post please a staff member immediately on the issue via PMs, @ing, or flagging.

The staff team will be sure to handle the situation ASAP respectfully, so please do not try to intervene!
