I'm writing this article after seeing the common issue with regarding unwanted behaviour

in their private messages on this and many other Aminos

While we have an Excellent Staff Team capable of helping control this unwanted behaviour if it happens;

There is a way to prevent it entirely within the app.

That's what I am here to show you today.

How to Flag/Report Something to Staff

The very first thing you will need to do if you have not already is the Amino App.

After Logging into the App,

Follow these Steps;

Find the 3 Line Button on the

Top Right of your Main Profile Page

From there you will need to

Click the Settings Button

Once you are in the Settings

Select the Option 'Allow Inbound Chat Requests'

Initially it will show a Green Tick :heavy_check_mark:

next to 'Everyone'

You can change this to ' I'm following'

Or Disable it Entirely!!

This will stop people from messaging you at all, or limit it to only people who you follow giving you greater control over who can send you messages into your Inbox and who can't!

No more creepy, unwanted messages!!
