As a Hellenic witch (my matron is Persephone and my family and pantheon spiritually is the Greek myths and lores.)

I’m engaged to my twin flame and have been looking at wedding stuff, and have learned a few things which I will make under a different post but when looking at beauty and beauty remedies the ancient Greeks used, I came across olive oil. And it has seemingly infinite uses, and some have even been proven to be effective via scientific explanations.
Beauty
•The Greek women swear by olive oil as a hair rescuer, they would warm it up and pour it over their hair. The Greeks would lighten their hair with vinegar and sunlight; so they had need for hair care. And I tried this last night, ITS AMAZING!!!! My hair feels stronger and is soft, and was easy to brush after not brushing for a day or so. It does still have a slight oilyness to it but nothing a more thorough hair rinse in hot water can’t fix!
•The Greek people used olive oil as a skin moisturizer as well! And I added the leftover oil from my hair mask into the bath water and my skin feels so good! It’s less oily than coconut oil!

Spirituality
•Olive oil is a clean burning oil that’s used for ancient oil lamps in temples. As a modern witch I mix olive oil into candles to make wax go longer, it makes the wax melting point lower and helps candles burn more evenly.
•As a base for herbal oils
•to dilute pure oils
