Meet The Surgeon Before He Operates… :hocho: 🩸

Trafalgar #Law was a character that I’ve known of for years prior to even indulging into the One Piece series. I just knew of him because of how much the anime community hyped him up and always mentioned him. I just came back from a comic convention and there was at least 15 different people I saw within my few days of the con dressed like Law. I’m not kidding :joy:

No cap AT ALL. The law fanbase was active for some reason and it’s hard not to like him. Law definitely has one of the most iconic designs out of One Piece & anime as a whole and you could see why so many people would want to replicate it. It’s just so unique. The jeans & the shirt and the spotted patterns with his sword. Too cool. I’ve just always thought this character was cool looking, prior to not knowing much about him. Can’t forget about the sick tattoos he has as well. I finally started the One Piece series and realized that he was just as badass as the fandom made him out to be. :fire:

Dissected & Rejected…🌫

Getting into knowing Law’s story was definitely tough for any fan first hand. It’s nicely done & it just proves all the more reason why Oda Sensei is the best. Law had a story all the more similar to Nico Robin, a girl who’s home was destroyed & outcasted by the world. Law was unfortunately living in a town riddled by a disease called “Amber Lead Syndrome” which discolored skin and made people very ill and it spread like crazy. No one could comprehend this crazy disease phenomenon and you know how people act when they don’t understand something, they panic and destroy. That panic & destruction caused Law to lose his mother and sister and become the sole survivor of the town of Flevance. A very unfortunate turn of events for Law. Law having been also inflicted by the disease himself.

So traumatic for a child to have to bare such hardships. Law scrambled and eventually found what he thought was a beacon of hope. Law stumbled upon a certain mischievous group of pirates called the “Donquixote Pirates” after a reckless attempt to get their attention. With that, Law’s life changed drastically and to be honest I’m glad that Oda chose Doflamingos family to be associated with Law. The dressrosa arc really hit to a lot of people & added more depth to the formation of Trafalgar Law.

If You Have A Heart… :heart: ‍🩹🩸

Law was full of rage and hatred for most of his life. Hating himself and the events that happened in his life that were too brutal to life through again. Law only wanted destruction, just like his home was done. Doflamingo allowed Law to his crew and perform dastardly deeds to his liking and that’s when Law stumbled on Corazon who is the supposed younger brother of Doflamingo. Corazon was seen as cold & hated kids and that made Law despise him fast lmao. Law was full of so much hate. Corazon eventually took a liking to Law & felt sympathetic towards him & his situation.

Corazon is undoubtedly one of the coolest characters in the series as well. He took Law under his wing and was like a little father & mentor to Law while living his life under the Donquixote Pirates. Corazon was determined to help Law live and not suffer from his condition and get his hands on the “Ope Ope no Mi “ which is a devil fruit and that fruit would cure all ailments. Just what our boy needed. Corazon literally died to make sure Law had eaten that fruit and we learned that Corazon wasn’t really true to Doflamingo all along. Law lost his mentor but he gained something for him that made him the Trafalgar Law of today. The strength that came from a heart. :100:

:womans_hat: Luffy & The Heart Pirates 🏴‍☠

Law became captain of his own crew called the “Heart Pirates” as he got old er and stronger with his devil fruit power. Law is nice with the sword, creating rooms & manipulating organs and he is also great with the medical field as a whole. Law is the definition of a character with growth psychically & mentally. Law took the mature, calculated but also reserved persona from Corazon for sure. Luffy met law because Law was part of the “Worst Gen Pirates” that the world had labeled Luffy, Captain Kid, Jewelry Bonnie, Basil, etc. that’s when we were introduced to law in the One Piece series and then given his backstory later on. Then Law was there for marineford. Luffy met Law again after the time skip on Punk Hazard. Law had work over their with Ceaser(a crazy bastard) and ultimately proposed an alliance with Luffy to take down Doflamingo and the emperors of the sea.

I’ve always liked seeing Luffy & Law interact because Luffy is silly as hell and Law is always so serious, but you can tell he gets a kick out of Luffy :joy: Throughout most of the series moving forward, Law. The two & their crews had common enemies and it would only make sense for them to team up and take them down. They both wanted to find the One Piece but their was greater threats at bey like Kaido & Big Mom. The fight with Big Mom was so underrated in my opinion, Kid and law really put the work on her.

Law has a unique fighting style and he is never reckless with his moves. Everything Law does is with plan & precision and I love that he knows his limits. Honestly, it made me realize that not many pirates are like Law in the series lmao. Most of them are not as precise & calculated like he is, they are just reckless.

The People Love Law, Like The Police.. :black_circle: 🟨

So when you think, “Why do people like this character so much”. My answer is that he’s just THAT GUY 🤷‍♂ :fire: . Law is relatable and has one of the most well written stories in all of One Piece. It’s not just how he dresses & his cool demeanor. Trafalgar D Water Law is so gifted within the series that’s it’s hard to ignore a character like him.

Cmon man, those finger movements he does and his ability to create rooms and power is sword is peak fiction. You’ve seen many characters of recent anime have similar style and abilities as Law too. Law is really a standard in anime now and he doesn’t really have many haters. I feel like if you have a character who possesses a sword, you just can’t disappoint on them. Aside from Luffy, Law is my favorite out of the worst generation of pirates for so many obvious reasons. Law went from hating life and wanting to destroy everything to changing his beliefs all because of a man who gave him a better outlook on life. Now Law wants to live and achieve things that he didn’t think he could in the short life that he had planned on living.

The Future For Law 🏴‍☠🩸 :sunny:

Law is a skilled pirate and a great captain to his crew. Law makes sure his crew is great regardless of the situation and he stands up for each and every one of them. Law is a true leader. I think the future for Trafalagar Law will be him becoming emperor of the sea once Luffy becomes pirate king. I love Law but Luffy has that king of the pirates spot secured and I’d be okay with him fighting Law over it. I just think Law would be sick as an emperor and people will respect him for his many talents.

I want Luffy to find the One Piece, because Luffy & his crew have been thought it & deserve that iconic treasure. As One Piece reaches its final stages, we can’t deny that Law will go down in history as one of the best anime characters ever and people will continue to keep his name alive. We don’t forget characters like these because they make us appreciate just how iconic they really are. Know the law :100:
